ABSTRACT:
An improvement in a tire manufacturing system including apparatus for testing by different combinations of testing algorithms and tire sensors. An operator selects the combinations best suited to test the tire according to the user's specifications. The tire is rotated and measured for lateral runout of both sidewalls. The resulting data is converted to digital form and analyzed according to the selected combinations of sensors and testing algorithms.
