ABSTRACT:
A single-lens reflex camera comprises a camera body, a lens system, a film holder having a rectangular aperture and mounted as rotatable relative to the camera body, a mirror that can reflect light, which is to enter the aperture, a focusing screen for transmitting the light reflected by the mirror, rotation shafts disposed perpendicular to the focusing screen, mask plates arranged to rotate in parallel to the focusing screen and about the rotation shafts to change an area of light passing through the focusing screen, and a motion transmitting mechanism for connecting the film holder with the mask plates. The camera of the present invention is provided with the finder screen frame changeover apparatus utilizing the compact and simple mechanism composed of a small number of components, as compared with the conventional apparatus.
