ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a polymer coupler which is capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and which is polymerized using a polymerization initiator represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a straight chain or branched chain alkyl group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; an R.sub.2 represents a straight chain or branched chain alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
The polymer coupler according to the present invention has a good stability to humidity and heat during storage of the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing thereof and provides decreased formation of fog in non-image areas of color photographs obtained by means of color development processing of the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material.
