ABSTRACT:
A microlaser cavity to a microlaser incorporating an active solid medium (38) and means (44) for switching the cavity, whilst also having, within said cavity, at least one element (46) of an optically nonlinear material, making it possible to multiply the basic frequency of the laser cavity by a factor n (n.gtoreq.2).
