ABSTRACT:
The dyeing of synthetic polyester fibers wherein the dyestuff is a mono-azo dyestuff of the formula ##STR1## in which X represents a hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, cyano, nitro or lower alkylsulphonyl radical, R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, chlorine or bromine atom or a lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or acylamino radical, R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkoxy radical and R.sub.3 represents a lower alkyl, .beta. -hydroxyethyl, .beta.-cyanoethyl, .beta.-acetoxyethyl or .beta.-(.beta.-acetoxyethoxy)-ethyl group.
