ABSTRACT:
A ski binding consists of: a baseplate mounted on the ski; two arms articulated in relation to the baseplate, arranged symmetrically in relation to the longitudinal axis of the ski, and each comprising a retaining jaw; a resilient element actuating the jaws on the articulated arms through a transmitting element; in relation to the baseplate, the articulated arms rotate about a vertical axis and move longitudinally; the present binding has been designed for the express purpose of restricting the intensity of the frictional forces between parts moving in relation to each other.
