ABSTRACT:
Cyclopropanecarboxylic acid amides ##STR1## wherein R represents hydrogen, straight-chain or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -Alkyl, optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted aralkyl,
can be prepared directly from the corresponding cyclopropanecarboxylic acid by reaction with ammonia under pressure in a suitable organic solvent.
