ABSTRACT:
This specification discloses a terminal for coupling to the edge of a printed circuit board with two cooperating springs to permit a reduced terminal size with increased contact pressure. The springs are restrained in a partly deflected position so they are preloaded and can provide an increased contact pressure with respect to an undeflected spring.
