ABSTRACT:
A liquid crystal composition, comprising: a first liquid crystal material comprising 20 to 70% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of at least one liquid crystal compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is independently an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
