ABSTRACT:
A digitizer for digitizing two and three dimensional geometrical forms. The digitizer uses extensible cords on pivotal reels. Information on cord extension and pivot angle is utilized to calculate stylus position in a desired coordinate system. Three dimensional objects rest upon a pivotal table which also provides digitizing information.
