ABSTRACT:
BN toughened bodies having isotropic properties are produced by reacting ub.2 O.sub.3, H.sub.3 BO.sub.3 or a mixture thereof with a metal nitride or a mixture of metal nitrides. The process described may be carried out using metal tooling.
