ABSTRACT:
A connector electrically connects, an electric circuit in an interchangeable lens with an electric circuit in a camera body. The connector includes plural contacts provided on the interchangeable lens and the corresponding plural contacts provided on the camera body.
Power supplying contacts in the plural contacts on the camera body are activated only after the interchangeable lens has been completely or mounted on the camera body.
