ABSTRACT:
A developing method wherein a developer layer formed on a developer feeding carrier is conveyed, into an oscillating electric field, and an electrostatic latent image on an image retainer is developed by the developer of the developer layer inside the oscillating electric field. The developer has carrier particles and toner particles and the average particle size of the carrier particles is from 5 to 50 .mu.m. The average particle size of the toner particles is up to 20 .mu.m. The carrier particle and the toner particle are sphered.
