ABSTRACT:
Multi-surface cleaning compositions and methods of use are presented. Compositions within the invention which are substantially non-streaking on hard surfaces comprise:
a) a surfactant selected from the group consisting of amine oxides within the general formula (I) ##STR1## and quaternary amine salts within the general formula (II) ##STR2## b) a very slightly water-soluble polar organic compound; and c) an effective amount of a water soluble organic compound selected from water soluble glycol ethers and water soluble alkyl alcohols.
wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of alkyl and substituted alkyl groups, R.sup.3 is selected from the group consisting of straight chain alkyls, branched chain alkyls, straight chain heteroalkyls, and branched chain heteroalkyls having from about 10 to 20 carbon atoms, R.sup.4 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl groups having from 1 to about 5 carbon atoms (preferably methyl), and X is a halogen atom, preferably atomic chlorine.
