ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material includes a support having thereon at least one silver halide light-sensitive emulsion layer, characterized in that at least one of a plurality of emulsions contained in the emulsion layer contains tabular grains having a thickness of less than 0.5 .mu.m, a diameter of at least 0.3 .mu.m, and an average ratio of grain diameter to grain thickness of at least 2, the tabular grains occupy at least 50% of the entire projected area of all the grains contained in the emulsion, the surfaces of the grains are chemically sensitized, and a ratio of surface sensitivity to internal sensitivity of the grains is 0.5 to 2.
