ABSTRACT:
This invention provides compounds, having major tranquilizing activity, of the formula (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a phenyl group optionally substituted by a fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom or an alkyl or alkoxyl group of up to 3 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of up to 4 carbon atoms; R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom or an amino group, a nitro group or a group of the formula NHCOR.sub.4 or NHCO.sub.2 R.sub.4 where R.sub.4 is an alkyl group of up to 4 carbon atoms optionally substituted by one, two or three chlorine atoms or by three fluorine atoms attached to the same carbon atom; n is 0, 1 or 2; and X is a group of the sub-formula (a), (b), (c) or (d):
