ABSTRACT:
An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed, which comprises a conductive support and a photosensitive layer containing a compound represented by the following Formula I as acarrier-transporting substance: ##STR1## wherein Ar is a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
The photoreceptor is excellent in charge characteristics, light sensitity and image formation and less causes fatigue deterioration after repeated use, thus having a superior durability.
