The disclosure describes sliding member comprising a metal mesh and a resin composition is filled and covered in the mesh and on the surface of the metal mesh, wherein the resin composition comprises 5 to 30% by weight of at least one reinforcing filler selected from the group consisting of glass fibers and wollastonite, 1 to 15% by weight of at least one phosphate selected from the group consisting of calcium pyrophosphate and calcium hydrogen phosphate, 1 to 20% by weight of barium sulfate and the balance of polytetrafluoroethylene,
