ABSTRACT:
Vic-triazoles are obtained in almost quantitative yield and high purity when .alpha.-oximino-arylhydrazones of the formula ##EQU1## IN WHICH Ar represents an aromatic-carbocyclic or aromatic heterocyclic radical, R.sub.1 denotes an aliphatic or aromatic radical, R.sub.2 denotes hydrogen or an aliphatic or aromatic radical and n denotes the numbers 1 or 2, are reacted with at least 1 mol equivalent of a cyclising agent in the presence of heavy metals or of their ions.
