ABSTRACT:
5-Aroyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrrole-1-carboxylic acid derivatives have been prepared from a 5-aroyl-7-hydroxycarbonyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrrole-1-carboxyli c acid derivative via selective decarboxylation.
