ABSTRACT:
Hydrogen and carbonyl sulfide are produced by a process comprising contacting gaseous hydrogen sulfide with gaseous carbon monoxide in the presence of a metal intercalate of graphite catalyst, e.g. cobalt Graphimet.sup.(R).
