ABSTRACT:
The device for controlling a local clock signal H both in frequency and in phase by means of a binary signal S comprises logical means for delivering two signals S.sub.1 and S.sub.3 representing respectively the sign of the phase difference and the sign of the frequency difference between the signals H and S. The signal H is generated by a voltage-controlled oscillator circuit, the control voltage of which is generated by a tuning control circuit as a function of the signal S.sub.1 when the frequency of the signal H is close in value to the desired frequency and as a function of the signal S.sub.3 when this is not the case.
