ABSTRACT:
The invention is concerned with novel water-dispersible or water-soluble copolymers which contain at least one UVA light-absorbing monomer, one UVB light-absorbing monomer, one hydrophilic monomer, and optionally one hydrophobic monomer component. The UVA light-absorbing monomer absorbs at .lambda.max ultraviolet light in the 320-400 nm range. The UVB light-absorbing monomer absorbs at .lambda.max ultraviolet light in the 290-320 nm range.
