Disclosed is an electrophotoreceptor comprising a conductive substrate and provided thereon, a photoreceptive layer comprising a charge generation material, an organic electron transporting charge transport material and a binder, wherein a layer transporting charge satisfies inequality .alpha..ltoreq.0.6, said .alpha. being a gradient of a straight line represented by the following formula (a):
