ABSTRACT:
A multi-channel information signal reproducing apparatus for reproducing information signals from a tape-shaped record bearing medium having a plurality of areas which respectively extend longitudinally in parallel with each other, wherein only the signal reproduced from one area, designated by a designating circuit out of the plurality of areas, is taken among the signals reproduced by a rotary head, which obliquely traces the tape-shaped record bearing medium, thus, reproducing the information signal, and, at the same time, the designating circuit is controlled based on the signal reproduced by the rotary head.
