ABSTRACT:
A silver halide light-sensitive photographic material comprising a support and provided thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-foming coupler having a formula [A] below and a high boiling organic solvent having a dielectric constant of not more than 6.0; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a halogen atom or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 independently represent an alkyl group which is capable of making said coupler non-diffusible in the photographic material; X.sub.1 represents a tertiary butyl group or a p-alkoxy phenyl group; X.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a group which is capable of being split off during color development; and X.sub.3 represents a linking group.
