A polycarbonate molding composition comprising an aromatic polycarbonate resin and a compound conforming to ##STR1## wherein n, x and y independently are 0 or 1 and R is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 hydrocarbon radical was found to have advantageous hydrolytic stability.
