ABSTRACT:
Hexamethylenemine is obtained by hydrogenating .epsilon.-caprolactam, the latter being vaporized and hydrogenated under a working pressure of less than 10 bar, the gas phase being unsaturated in respect of caprolactam, and the residence time being short.
