ABSTRACT:
Stabilized chlorine-containing polymers containing at least one anilinotriazine of the formula I ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is phenyl or a group of the formula II ##STR2## in which R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 independently of one another are chlorine, bromine, cyano, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, hydroxyl, methoxy, ethoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl and n.sub.1, n.sub.2 and n.sub.3 are 0, 1, 2, or 3, subject to the proviso that the sum of n.sub.1 +n.sub.2 +n.sub.3 is an integer from 1 to 3, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another are C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -hydroxyalkyl, and also novel anilinotriazines and the use thereof for stabilizing chlorine-containing polymers against the harmful effects of light and/or heat.
