ABSTRACT:
In the tape printing apparatus1, in the state that the back cover11is not attached to the apparatus body2, the coil spring member22urges the stopper member15so as to rotate and the cutter lever5becomes inoperable based on that the engagement portion15A of the stopper member15is engaged with the difference portion19of the cutter lever5, and in the state that the back cover11is attached to the apparatus body2, the stopper member5is rotated against the urging force of the coil spring member22based on that the engagement lib14of the back cover11is engaged with the engagement portion15B of the stopper member15and the cutter lever5becomes operable based on that the engagement portion15A of the stopper member15is released from the difference portion19of the cutter lever5.
