ABSTRACT:
The present invention is directed to novel polynucleotides and polypeptides directed to EXP1 ofPlasmodium vivax, and methods of using these polynucleotides and polypeptides in the detection ofP. vivaxantibodies or anti-P. vivaxantibodies in a subject. The invention finds particular useful application in identifying recent exposure toP. vivax.
