ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material contains a cyan dye forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylthio group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylthio group, a substituted or unsubstituted acylamino group, a substituted or unsubstituted sulfonamido group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxycarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylcarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted carbonyl group or a nitrile group, or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 or R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 may together represent an alkylidene group, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 may combine each other to form a ring, three or more of R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are not hydrogen atom at the same time and when two of R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are hydrogen atoms at the same time, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 combine each other to form a ring or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 or R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are hydrogen atoms; X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon an oxidative coupling with a developing agent; and n represents 0 or 1.
The cyan dye forming coupler can provide a cyan color image having excellent fastness to light and heat and have good solubility in an organic solvent having a high boiling point.
