ABSTRACT:
There is produced coarse particle mordenite by treating a reaction mixture consisting essentially of on a molar basis 2.5-10 Na.sub.2 O, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 15-30 SiO.sub.2, 400-4000 H.sub.2 O, 5-30 NaCl in an autoclave at a temperature of 140.degree. to 180.degree. C. until formation of crystals separating the crystalline product, washing with water and drying.
