ABSTRACT:
The FOUP door positioning device of a FOUP opener is compatible with all kinds of FOUPs, is inexpensive, and has a simple positioning-ping adjustment mechanism.In a state in which a flange portion (a portion having a taper13) of a proximal end portion of a positioning pin10is seated in a recess portion31of a port door30, and an air suction bore14of the positioning pin10and an air suction bore32of the port door30are aligned with each other, a pin insertion hole23of a suction pad20is fitted to a straight portion11of the positioning pin10, and the suction pad20is screwed to the port door30. By this procedure, the suction pad20is attached to the outer surface of the port door30, and a portion of the suction pad20which is sunk into a recess portion31presses the flange portion of the proximal end portion of the positioning pin10. A reinforcing metal plate25is embedded in a base portion21of the suction pad20.
