ABSTRACT:
An object of the present invention is to prevent irregular burrs from being created on the surface during cutting due to the cutting line crossing over the sealing material when a liquid crystal display panel is separated from a mother substrate. When the sealing material30is applied using a dispenser, the starting point31and the finishing point32of the sealing material are at points inside the cutting line40, and thus, the cutting line40is prevented from crossing the sealing material30when the liquid crystal display panel is separated from a mother substrate100. As a result, the breaking line42runs straight down from the scribe line41, creating a clean cross section. Even though the starting point31and the finishing point32of the sealing material30are at points inside the liquid crystal display panel, the starting point31and the finishing point32are formed so as to be contained within the black matrix in frame form in the periphery, and thus, the display region is not affected.
