ABSTRACT:
Fuse cavity structure includes fuses10, 20in which each of fusible elements17, 27for protecting a circuit from overcurrent is located between terminals15or25, and a housing59in which the fuses10, 20are mounted; a part of a wall65of the housing59which partitions the fuse10, 20and fuse10, 20is removed thereby to form a notch65H in the wall65; and space is provided between the fuses10or20. The notch65H is formed by notching the wall65corresponding to at least a part of the fusible portion17, 27. The fuse10has a head portion13and jig engagement portions14a. A groove80corresponding to the head portion13and the jig engagement portions14ais provided within the housing59. A wide-width portion is provided at the groove80in correspondence to the width of the head portion13of the fuse10, and a narrow-width portion is provided at the groove80in correspondence to the width of the jig engagement portion14aof the fuse10which is narrower than the head portion13. Another fuse20having a different configuration from the fuse10is provided at the housing59in place of the fuse10. A positioning portion for making it possible to assemble the another fuse20to the housing59in a normal state is provided at the groove80. Such a fuse cavity structure is used for an electric connection box.
