ABSTRACT:
Disclosed here is an image signal processing method and apparatus. In the image signal processing, with the use of characteristically different low-pass filters disposed in parallel, a current-field image signal undergoes low-pass filtering process, and the outputs from the low-pass filters are mixed to produce an extended image signal including a pseudo afterglow signal. The pseudo afterglow signal is added to an area as required.
