A solid, hydrocarbon-insoluble, catalyst component useful in polymerizing olefins containing magnesium, titanium, and halogen further contains an internal electron donor comprising a compound containing electron donating substituents with a structure:wherein D1and D2are selected individually fromand R, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, and R7individually are hydrocarbon or substituted hydrocarbon groups containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms and R2, R3, R4, R6, and R7may be hydrogen; R4may be —NR2; andwherein groups R1and R2, R2and R3, R3and R4, R3and R5, and groups R6and R7may be joined to form a cyclic structure.
