ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are methods, compositions, and kits for inducing polyclonal antibodies against one or more pathogens that includeStreptococcus suis. The methods may include administering to an animal a composition that includes an isolated 38 kDa polypeptide ofStreptococcus suisand a suitable excipient. The methods, compositions, and kits may be used to immunize an animal against infection byStreptococcus suis.
