ABSTRACT:
A scroll compressor has a moving scroll and a stationary scroll in contact with each other. A seal ring for defining a back pressure space at a rear side of the stationary scroll is provided and its position is adjusted between a sealing position and a leakage position with respect to an end plate of the stationary scroll.
