ABSTRACT:
A printhead assembly includes a support member. The support member has a core element that defines internal ink reservoirs storing ink to be supplied to the printhead and a layered outer shell conforming to and partially enclosing the core element. An ink ejection printhead is mounted on the support member and is in fluid communication with the internal ink reservoirs.
