A Cellulose acylate film, in which X-ray diffraction intensity satisfies following formulae and a half-value width of the peak at 2θ2is greater than 3° and not greater than 7°:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.40≦Ic2/(Iam2+Ic2)≦0.75;in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?Iam2I1+{(I3−I1)/(2θ3−2θ1)×(2θ2−2θ1)}; andin-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?Ic2=I2−Iam2,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein when it is assumed that θis the Bragg angle, 2θ1and 2θ3indicate 2θ at which the intensity becomes the minimum in the 2θ range of 4° to 5° and 14° to 16°, respectively, 2θ2indicates 2θ at which the intensity becomes the maximum in the 2θ range of 5° to 10°, and I1, I2and I3indicate a diffractive intensity at 2θ1, 2θ2and 2θ3, respectively.
