ABSTRACT:
The embodiments presented in this disclosure provide for systems and methods to control electrical machinery. In embodiments, the systems and methods control electrical machinery according to the usage of power on a power grid compared to the peak usage for that power grid. In one embodiment, a system receives a peak usage parameter, receives a current megawatt usage for the power grid, compares the current megawatt usage to the peak usage parameter, and powers off one or more electrical machines connected to the power grid if the current megawatt usage is near the peak usage parameter.
