ABSTRACT:
The present invention supports a reticle12in a safe and secure manner. A reticle-carrying container11includes a pod13for storing the reticle12,a door14and a seal15for blocking and sealing hermetically the pod13.A pair of reticle retainers25and45is provided on the insides of the pod13and door14.Each of the reticle retainers25and45includes an inclined plane28that contacts an upper corner12A or a lower corner12B of peripheral edge of the reticle12and supports the reticle12elastically. The inside of the inclined plane28is provided with concave portions31and52that enables a shock-absorbing function of allowing the deformation of the inclined plane28and supporting the reticle elastically, at the time of contact with the upper corner12A or the lower corner12B of peripheral edge of the reticle12.
