ABSTRACT:
A zoom lens includes a first lens unit having a negative refractive power, a second lens unit having a positive refractive power, and a third lens unit having a positive refractive power. The first to third lens units are arranged in that order from an object side toward an image side, and change the distances therebetween during zooming. The following conditions are satisfied:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.70<f2/√{square root over ((fW·fT))}<0.95, andin-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?2.9<(β2T·β3W)/(β2W·β3T)<3.7in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where fW and fT respectively represent the focal lengths of the entire zoom lens at a wide angle end and a telephoto end, f2represents the focal length of the second lens unit, β2W and β2T respectively represent the imaging magnifications of the second lens unit at the wide angle end and the telephoto end, and β3W and β3T respectively represent the imaging magnifications of the third lens unit at the wide angle end and the telephoto end.
