ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a capping device for a printhead. The capping device includes a metal body having a U-shaped transverse profile and defining a plurality of holes in a portion thereof. An elastomeric seal is attached to an inside surface of one leg of the metal body, said seal keyed to the metal body by the holes.
