ABSTRACT:
In order to provide a method of determining an angle a of an external magnetic field relative to a magnetoresistive angle sensor with two full bridges which respectively supply an output signal U1=U0sin(2α), U2=U0cos(2α), wherein the angle determination can be carried out using simple electronic components, it is proposed that the angle α is determined in an analog manner using the relation α=½*(U1/(U1|+U2|))−1*sgn(U2).
