ABSTRACT:
In a disk array apparatus according to an aspect of the invention, temperatures of disk drives arranged in a casing are equalized to reduce a noise. A disk array apparatus50comprises plural disk drives2, fans5, and a casing1. The disk drives2are arranged in an array, the fans5are provided on one end side of rows of the disk drives, and the casing1accommodates the disk drives2and the fans5. Air which has already cooled the disk drives flows through an air duct10. A sub-fan6exhausts the air flowing through the air duct to the outside of the casing1. A nozzle11is arranged in a front end portion of the air duct. One end portion of the nozzle11is arranged between the disk drives.
