ABSTRACT:
A printer with a stationary printhead that extends across a paper path, and has a plurality of color channels, each with at least one nozzle row extending along the length of the printhead. Each nozzle in a color channel ejects the same colored ink, and the printhead is made up of one or more printhead chips, where each printhead chip has a chip area of less than 1 cm2.
