An ink-jet cloth printing ink containing a disperse dye, a dispersing agent, water and a water-soluble organic solvent, wherein the average particle diameter of the disperse dye is from 100 nm to 300 nm and the solubility of the dye in the ink is from 10−5to 10−3.
